A worlds first. Made by J Clarke Marine Ltd. This turnbutton tool has been trailed and tested and finally its on the market. The turnbutton tool is designed to be struck with a hammer to punch a hole in many fabric materials to make fitting a turnbutton common sense eyelet and washer a simple task
New design 5th July 2021 , longer handle / sharper cutter
A little tip I use : Most people use a block of wood under the canvas when using similar tools. That can work fine, but also grab a magazine, something similar to a TV times and place it between the block of wood and the canvas then give the hammer a go. I think you will be impressed.
This turnbutton tool is to be used only with turnbuttons. Will not fit lift the dots.

"A very sturdy tool, I've not used it yet but I'm sure it'll last for years."

"This small tool is brilliant. I had to put 42 turn button eyelets into new blinds for a gazebo and this tool did the job. The service was excellent. I placed the order during an afternoon and the tool arrived the following morning. I can certainly recommend J Clark Marine."
— Carol F. (5/5)
"Really useful tool. Might be useful to have a two-pronged hole maker for the other part on the reverse of the short end but the shape might then have to be changed to make it easier to hold in place while hammering it?"
— Jane P. (5/5)
"A little crude but works best over the end grain of a block of wood."
— Ron G. (4/5)
"The tools looks great. Not used it yet as I plan to fit the new hood next week on my Mini Moke."
— Nick R. (5/5)
"Does the hob well"
— Andy C. (5/5)
"Great tool. Easy to use and lasts a long time."
— Terry O. (5/5)
"Works well for occasional use with a book underneath as per video. A block of hardwood to protect the tool and a large hammer in smaller circular blows worked best."
— Chris W. (4/5)
"Easy to use"
